Our Plan for the Initiative 9M.

WHAT DOES IT CONSIST?
On the occasion of May 9, Europe Day, and since this year is the European Year of Citizens we will hold a meeting of European citizens in our city, Ciudad Real.

A meeting will be a simple tribute to citizenship and to be multidisciplinary:

In part shall be considered as conference and symposium, in which will read some of the most representative articles of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU related to citizenship and the values that inspire the European Union.

Exposure will be also an exhibition (historical pictures and videos, disseminating scientific achievements, introduction of the euro, European nature, social events, etc…)

It will have several instrumental performances, some sung and / or danced, some "hymns" well known in Europe (the European anthem itself, the "Te Deum" which is the basis of the Eurovision anthem and the anthem of the Champions).

Poetry reading character will, in which some European citizens living and / or working in Ciudad Real read in their own language (English, Gaelic, French, Dutch and Italian) and tell us what has meant for them the experience of coming to Spain, the Personal Enrichment course to them, their integration with the Spanish and their longing for the land they left years ago. Also tell us what is to them the text they have chosen to read (read themselves also in Spanish, or one of us, for most of the general public can understand);

Likewise we’ll connect via handg-out (G+) with Spaniards working or studying in other European countries and also tell us what has been their life experience and their level of integration in other societies.

It will present the European Youth Agenda we have developed aimed at secondary school students and university: The European Youth Agenda in its first version is aimed at Spanish and European students with knowledge of Spanish, but overlooking that can be read by other European citizen nationalities (mainly French and English). We believe that the European Youth Agenda may be a permanent vehicle to maintain over time the awareness of European citizenship beyond the week of May 9.

Finally, we’ll end up playing a festive song by M. Rios "United", based on the melody of the "Te Deum" (hymn of Eurovision) and the Eurovision song by Rosa, our representative in Eurovision a few years ago, "Europe's living a celebration" with the consequent release of blue and yellow balloons .

WHERE?
We contacted with an official of the Europe Direct Centre in our city and we explain our need to find a spacious lounge where citizens hold this meeting. The Center, under the city of Ciudad Real, immediately offered one of the rooms they use for similar events and that is where our celebration will take place:

SALON CENTER EVENTS EUROPE DIRECT

TIME: 20:00 H.

HOW WE WILL SPREAD?

On the one hand, Europe Direct center of Ciudad Real will call the press (Lanza and Tribuna) and local TV (CR TV) and, on the other hand, our Center will hold another press release about the event to be hold in the hall of Europe Direct Centre Ciudad Real.
In addition, the event featured on our blog and from Twitter, Facebook and Google+ can access the blog.
Another means of dissemination has been through the families of our comrades who have become known among family and friends.
The celebration of the Europe Day also known outside Spain because the Spaniards living in Europe who contact during the act have informed their European friends try to be present during the hang-out.
Finally we performed a European Youth Agenda because it seems to be an excellent transmission medium between citizens of EU values, and extending beyond the day May 9.
